About Grace and Hope Foundation

The Grace and Hope Foundation is a organization which has been funding grant requests from charitable organizations since 1997. The foundation was started by Aana Lisa Johnson Whatley and her family who also comprise the board for the foundation.

The initial funding for the Grace and Hope Foundation came from the sale of Mrs. Whatley's interest in Stronghaven Inc. in 1996. Stronghaven was a leading supplier of corrugated containers founded in Matthews, NC in 1972 by her and her husband, Orie Johnson.
